|DUA'A - SUPPLICATION
Anas رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate with this dua.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ البَرَصِ وَالْجُنُونِ وَالْجُذَامِ وَمِنْ سَيِّئِ الْأَسْقَامِ
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-barasi, wal- jununi, wal-judhami, wa sayyi’il-asqaam

A Message from the Leadership of the Lexington Muslim Community
DATE: Friday, March the 13th, 2020
Assalamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,
The Leadership of the Lexington Muslim Community has made the difficult decision to CANCEL the Jumuah prayers in all the Masajid of
Lexington until further notice.
Decisions such as these are never easy, we followed the Islamic concept of Shura or consultation, the recommendations of public heath officials, and
several Islamic organizations, to name a few ( ISNA Islamic society of North America, FCNA Fiqh Council of North America, AMJA Assembly of
Muslim Jurists of Amaerica, IMANA Islamic Medical Association of North America). Please see the attachment below.
We ask the community to follow the safety measures set forth by the health officials, and most importantly remain calm. Take this time to reflect
upon the value of our masjid community, andmake Duaa for the health and prosperity of our global community. It’s time of repentance and
beseeching Allah for assistance; it is time for having trust in Him and good thoughts of Him. Remember Allah much and increase our good deeds.
The Muslim community to take precautions, including but not limited to suspending daily congregational prayers, Sunday school, Jumuah prayers
and other gatherings in your communities and mosques temporarily.
